I've never been a big fan of any flash for any website. It's not SEO friendly and it tends to pull a lot of resources. Many things don't support flash (including, as mentioned in this article, most email platforms).

You want to keep newsletters as clean as possible (text and images) and as light as possible. By the way I found this website looking for link utm tracking information for google analytics. There's a lot of posts about Joomla are you using Joomla for this site? I have 3 Joomla sites myself. - Staysure

I entirely agree with your suggestion. Using flash is nice to attract users but it is not necessary.

I agree that using Flash in Newsletters in not necessary. Elegant and professional look can be created using only text and graphic, and if someone has problems with it, it is a criteria of it's qualification. - Else

I am agreed with you, but some time you need little minor animation either with the logo or something artistic. Also the animation should be looks elegant within the newsletter and professional. I don’t think so using of the flash intro or presentation or music or movie etc....

Thanks,
