If you have not tried out Google Webmater tools. You should. They are that helpful.

Google has created these tools to help you see how google sees your site.  You could uncovers some big problems with simple fixes.

These tools allow you to see what search results you pages are appearing on, what pages are indexed, submit sitemaps, and many more.

The guys at SEO Chat have created a post about the 5 top things to do with Google Webmaster Tools.  The article is well worth the read.

For the impatient here are the five tips:

  1. Locating incoming links that give 404 errors.
  2. Use the "Top Search" Feature
  3. Locate backlinks
  4. Check Robots.txt and your sitemap
  5. Remove your unneeded URLs from the Google index.

Some good information here, may be stuff you already knew but it is good to hear it again.  You may just learn something new.
